Dr. Grif has published articles in the Journal of Addictive Behaviors and in the Journal of Abnormal Child Psychology. He has specialized in short-term problem solving/skill building techniques with adults, children, teens, families and marital couples. He will provide long-term counseling services for some private pay clients that want a counselor/coach available weekly or monthly. Dr. Grif has also specialized in providing pre-hiring psychological screenings for public safety positions: fireman, police officers, sheriff’s departments, security guards, etc. Dr. Grif has designed and is presently implementing Employee Assistance Programs with some departments on a retainer basis. |

Dr. Robin Inwald |
Dr.
Robin Inwald is the founder and director of Hilson Research, Inc., a
psychological test publishing company that focuses on the development of
specialized personality tests, such as the well-known Inwald
Personality Inventory (IPI). The author of over fifty psychological
tests, Dr. Inwald has written numerous published academic articles and
book chapters. Her comments on various issues have appeared in media as
diverse as the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Redbook, Men?s
Health, Cosmopolitan magazines and CBS News. </! SPAN>She has
written guidelines for practice in the police psychology field that have
been adapted for use by professional psychological organizations. She
also was a special consultant to the American Psychological Association
and to a congressional committee in their efforts to understand and
regulate psychological testing and laws such as the Americans with
Disabilities Act and the Civil Rights Act of 1991. Since 1985, Dr. Inwald
has been a Diplomate in Forensic Psychology, one of approximately 150
psychologists nationwide who is recognized by the American Psychological
Association?s American Board of Professional Psychology and the American
Board of Forensic Psychology as having expertise in the area of psychology
and the law. In 1995, she was invited to become a founding member of the
American Board of Assessment Psychology.
She frequently is consulted as an ex pert witness in police psychology and
in cases involving testing issues. Dr. Inwald received a bachelor?s
degree in theatre arts and English from Cornell University, and
Certificates in Illustration & Fine Art from Parsons School of Design. In
2000, she received the David C. McClelland Award for ?meritorious
achievement in psychology? from the New York State Psychological
Association. |
